1. Broker Mandate – How It Protects You in Germany

1.1 Why do you need a broker mandate?

As an independent licensed broker, we are legally obliged to act in your best interest in Germany.
To request offers, manage your contracts, or assist in claim situations, German insurers require a written mandate.
This mandate lets us work for you, but does not replace your decisions – every step is discussed in advance and approved by you.

Important: The mandate does NOT trigger automatic changes.
No contract will be cancelled or replaced unless you clearly agree first.

1.2 What does the broker mandate allow us to do?

  • Request comparison offers and information from many insurers.
  • Administer your contracts (change, switch, cancel) once you instruct us.
  • Full support for claims, talking with the insurance company directly for you.
  • Contact social insurance agencies or government bodies if required for your case.
  • Issue or change premium payment authorizations with your consent.
  • Authorize trusted broker partners or service networks (VEMA, Fonds Finanz, etc) as needed.

You can revoke your mandate any time in text form (e-mail is sufficient).
Handling of past advice is still documented as required by German law.
